Dr. D’Antoni has served on the admissions committees of both allopathic and osteopathic medical schools. He has reviewed thousands of personal statements and can guide you through the process so that you avoid common pitfalls. He also has a network of colleagues who still serve on medical school admissions committees, and this keeps him up-to-date on changing trends in the medical school admissions process. There are important differences between allopathic and osteopathic personal statements that need to be respected and Dr. D’Antoni will teach them to you.

The Silver tier includes:

  1. A first review of your finalized personal statement (should be the third draft or higher) by Dr. D’Antoni.
  2. Your personal statement will then be returned to you with recommendations and comments.
  3. After you revise your personal statement based on Dr. D’Antoni’s recommendations, Dr. D’Antoni will conduct a 30-minute consultation with you to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of your personal statement.
  4. Note that only one personal statement for either an osteopathic or allopathic medical school is reviewed when purchasing the Silver tier.

The Gold tier includes:

  1. A first review of your finalized personal statement (should be the third draft or higher) by Dr. D’Antoni.
  2. A 30-minute consultation with you to discuss the direction and focus of your personal statement.
  3. Your personal statement will then be returned to you with recommendations and comments.
  4. After you revise your personal statement based on Dr. D’Antoni’s recommendations, Dr. D’Antoni will conduct a second, 30-minute consultation with you to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of your personal statement.
  5. Note that up to two personal statements are reviewed when purchasing the Gold tier. Some students have two different versions of their personal statements reviewed for one type of medical school, whereas others choose to have one personal statement reviewed for allopathic medical school and one personal statement reviewed for osteopathic medical school. Do not use the same personal statement for both allopathic and osteopathic medical schools.
