Each Brainiac Test Prep MCAT® practice quiz consists of ten (10) multiple-choice items modeled after those found on the MCAT®. The items are mapped to the most recent MCAT® blueprint (available by the Association of American Medical Colleges) by section, skill, and category.
Unless stated otherwise, each quiz contains a combination of both passage-based and discrete items. Exceptions are the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills (CARS) quizzes, which exclusively contain passage-based items that align with the MCAT®. None of the Brainiac Test Prep questions were written by non-expert “ghost writers.”
Each item was meticulously written using best psychometric practices and is accompanied by a detailed explanation of why the best answer choice is correct, and why the distractors are not. In many cases, the explanations are referenced to free online textbooks, so that you can further explore the domain knowledge concepts tested by the items.
For some of the more challenging items, the written explanations may be accompanied by short video clips of Dr. D’Antoni discussing the reasoning behind the items and why the best answer choices are correct.
There are 3 purchasing tiers: Bronze (1 month with no consultation), Silver (3 months with one, 15-minute phone consultation with Dr. D’Antoni), and Gold (6 months with one, 30-minute phone consultation with Dr. D’Antoni).
For Silver or Gold purchases, the phone consultation must be used within the time frame of the subscription. This cannot be combined with any other offer.
The purchaser should email support@brainiactestprep.com to set-up their phone conversation with Dr. D’Antoni once they purchase either a Silver or Gold subscription.
